What SecBot does

SecBot watches the events that move stock prices and tells you about them while they still matter.

Filings hit the SEC. An insider buys a million dollars of their own stock. A senator reports a trade. A drug clears the FDA. An analyst flips a rating. Most traders find out hours later, after the move. SecBot reads these the moment they post, works out what each one means for the stock, and puts it in front of you with a plain-English summary and a score for how much it matters.

What it watches

Everything in one feed, pulled from the primary sources traders actually trade on:

  • Company disclosures — 10-K and 10-Q reports, 8-K announcements, IPO registrations, and the full range of SEC forms.
  • Insider activity — Form 4 buys and sells, plus clusters where several insiders buy the same stock inside a short window.
  • The smart money — 13F institutional holdings, activist stakes, and congressional trades from House and Senate members.
  • Catalysts — earnings, FDA approvals and recalls, clinical trial readouts, government contract awards.
  • The street — analyst upgrades, downgrades, and price-target changes, with each firm's track record attached.
  • Risk and macro — enforcement actions, court rulings, USITC import cases, PTAB patent trials, economic releases, energy data, and geopolitical events.
  • Market signals — trading halts, unusual options, short interest, dark-pool prints, and sentiment from retail trading communities.

Who it's for

Active traders and investors who want an edge from public information without reading paperwork all day. If you trade catalysts, follow insider and institutional flow, or just want to know the second something happens to a name you hold, this is built for you.

How you'll use it

Most people use the first three, and some add the fourth:

  1. The dashboard at secbot.trade — a live feed you can filter, search, and sort by impact, plus dedicated pages such as Narratives, Halts & Listings, Institutions and the Insider Tracker.
  2. A watchlist with alert rules — track your names, group them, and decide exactly which events are worth a message.
  3. Telegram — receive those alerts as instant direct messages.
  4. Your own tools — connect the agent tools and apps you already use to SecBot data. See Connect your own tools.
