FAQ — account & access
Answers to the common questions about signing up, paying, and what changes when a subscription runs out.
How do I sign up?
Create an account on secbot.trade with your email. Once you're in, you can browse on free access right away. To unlock real-time intelligence, the watchlist and alerts, subscribe from inside the app.
Do I need to verify my email?
Yes. After you register, check your inbox for a verification link and click it to activate the account. If it doesn't arrive, check spam, then request a new one from the sign-in screen. Use an address you read: the optional email digest and account notices go there.
How do I pay?
You buy days in advance with USDC on Base or Solana, paid from a crypto wallet you connect on the Subscribe page. You can buy anywhere from 1 to 365 days at a time, and the daily price is shown on that page. There's no card payment and no auto-renew. Full details are in Plans & access.
Can I add more days before mine run out?
Yes. Use Extend Subscription on the Account page, or the Subscribe page. The new days are added after your current end date, so you don't lose any.
I paid but my subscription isn't active yet
Access starts once the payment settles on-chain. That's usually quick, but the page can show a processing state for a few minutes. Don't send a second payment. If you were charged, the subscription switches on by itself. You can check the transaction on BaseScan or Solscan. If it still hasn't activated after a while, use the in-app Contact page.
What happens if my subscription runs out?
Your account goes back to free access. Anything under about 24 hours old is blurred again, and alerts stop until you buy more days. Nothing is deleted: your watchlist, groups and alert rules are still there when you come back.
Can I get a refund?
On-chain payments can't be reversed, and payments are generally non-refundable. The Terms explain the exceptions. Buying a short stretch, even a single day, is the easiest way to try SecBot first.
How do I change my password?
Update it from your Account page. If you're locked out, use the password-reset link on the sign-in screen and follow the email it sends.
Can I use SecBot data in my own tools?
Yes, with a subscription. SecBot runs an MCP server that agent tools and apps can connect to with an API key from your Account page. See Connect your own tools.
Is there an affiliate program?
Yes. It runs from a separate affiliate account and pays a lifetime revenue share in USDC. See Affiliate program.
Will SecBot ever ask for my password or wallet keys?
No. Sign in and pay only through the pages on secbot.trade. SecBot never needs your wallet's seed phrase or private keys, and you shouldn't share them with anyone who asks.
