Today's Edge

Today's Edge is the day's events ranked by how much they're likely to matter, with the strongest ideas at the top. Instead of scrolling the whole feed, you open this view and read down from the best setup to the routine flow.

Today's EdgeToday's Edge ranks the day's events by their expected effect.

How the ranking works

Each event carries a calibrated estimate of its expected effect, what we call its expected edge. SecBot's analysis weighs the kind of event, the strength of the signal, and how clean the read is, then orders the board from highest to lowest. A clear, well-supported catalyst rises; a noisy or ambiguous one settles lower even when it's interesting.

This is conviction applied across the entire day rather than to a single card. If you've read Tiers & conviction, it's the same idea pushed to the level of a ranked list.

Reading the list

The top entries are where to spend your attention first. Each row shows the ticker, the event, its score, and the directional read, so you can size up an idea without opening the full report. From any row you can jump straight to the report or to the ticker's Explore Stock page.

A high rank is a statement of confidence, not a promise. The morning's top idea can still go nowhere. What keeps the ranking honest is that every issued report is tracked afterward, and you can see exactly how past calls landed in Report Analytics.

Use Today's Edge as your first read of the session: start at the top, work down as far as your time allows, and lean hardest on the ideas the ranking and the track record both support.

Next: PEAD.
